I'm back from my London study abroad trip! Which means I was finally able to see my piece on display at Baton Rouge's Louisiana State Museum as part of ArtMelt 2013! I submitted this piece to the jury back in June and although the opening reception was on July 20, I was only able to go to the gallery yesterday since I've been in London this whole time. Me and 70 other participants were chosen out of more than six hundred submissions. Fortunately the show will be up for another week, and there are a lot of great pieces (including mine ahaha) so anyone in the area should go check it out!
